Erewash Borough Council and partner councils across Greater Nottingham (Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City and Rushcliffe) are working together to plan for the important spatial planning issues we face over the next 20 years. These issues include the need to sustainably deliver significant levels of new housing and also provide new economic development opportunities in each of the local authority areas. The above is taking place through the production of an aligned set of Core Strategies which will most effectively co-ordinate how and where growth is delivered across Greater Nottingham up to 2026. The production of a Core Strategy Development Plan Document (DPD) involves several stages from commencement to its adoption. Greater Nottingham councils have now progressed their documents to the second notable stage, with the publication of the Option for Consultation document. Should you wish to learn more about the previous stage of the Core Strategy (Issues and Options), please click the link next to the Core Strategy. For more details on the Option for Consultation stage of the Core Strategy, please visit its page on this website.
