Issues and Options stage:The first public consultation stage on the Core Strategy (Issues and Options) took place during the summer of 2009. Our engagement on the document helped us to clearly understand the main strategic planning issues that Erewash Borough, and Greater Nottingham in general, face during the period to 2026. A high and varied level of response was received from a wide range of backgrounds. This provided the councils with important information on what the main local planning issues were thought to be, and comments on the favoured options thought appropriate to positively address these. Summaries of the comments received in response to the Issues and Options stage and a detailed record of the consultation events that took place throughout the summer of 2009 have been provided.
