Local Development Framework

Town Centre Masterplans have been created for Ilkeston and Long Eaton to provide a blue print for future development. Indeed, they represent a comprehensive urban design framework and development strategy for the town centres which guides regeneration work and attracts investment into the towns.

The Masterplans contain an overall vision and objectives for the two towns as well as promoting the delivery of more specific demonstrator projects.

The Masterplans were adopted in 2007 and can be accessed separately using the tabs on the right hand side of this web page.
