A warm welcome to Erewash Markets!

Long Eaton Market Sign Erewash Borough Council is responsible for the upkeep and management of the main retail markets in each of the two principal towns within the district. These are:

Ilkeston Market

  • running Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, located in the Market Square outside the Town Hall.

Long Eaton Market

  • running Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, situated in the heart of the pedestrianised shopping area at the Old Market Place, along the High Street and on Beaconsfield.

Become a Trader from £15 per day!!

Erewash markets are currently looking for new traders selling desired lines. Pitch prices start from as little as £15 per day. Click here for further details.
 

Free Saturday Parking

Erewash Borough Council is pleased to confirm that selected Council car parks will be free of charge every Saturday until further notice. The scheme applies between 9.30am and 6pm only, and is intended to boost Saturday takings for local traders. The following car parks are included in the offer:

  • Town Hall Car Park, Ilkeston
  • Town Hall Car Park, Long Eaton

What's on offer

With over 50 stalls at each town market, there is plenty to browse. With many foods including cheese, meat and preserves, fashion wear, greetings cards, books, haberdashery, and hundreds of products on sale, be prepared for it to take you some time!

This is a shopping experience where you can enjoy an extensive range of products in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere. It is not about being the cheapest, but about offering real value for money - good quality at reasonable prices, with a wide range of goods displayed in a traditional market town setting.
