Three paintings by an Ilkeston artist who was famous for providing the illustrations for the Ey Up Mid Duck Ilkeston dialect books have been aquired by the Erewash Museum.  Rick Scollins, who died at the age of 45 in 1992 worked with local teacher John Titford to produce the books, copies of which have been sold all over the world.

The three paintings form part of a series of 10 works produced by Scollins, one of the paintings is now on display at the museum.
