At the Erewash Museum we try and put the needs of families at the heart of what we do providing a fun and memorable experience for all generations to enjoy. Come and enjoy the many NEW family friendly improvements we are making to our museum:

Victorian school room experience:

Sit up straight, pay attention and behave in our new victorian school room!  You can sit at a real victorian school desk, try your hand at copperplate writing and have fun with some victorian toys and games.

Wartime:

In our wartime gallery you can try on the type of clothes that might have been worn during WW2, you can even have a look in an evacuees suitcase and read a letter written by a child sent away from home during the war.

Gardens:

The museum gardens are a great place for families to spend some time playing, having a picnic or relaxing.  You can even have fun in our museum maze!
