We have received reports from the Police regarding a Council Tax Rebate scam.

People are ringing up customers and saying that they are from Erewash Borough Council and they are due a rebate, then asking for their bank details to arrange for a refund.

Please do not give out your bank details.  Erewash Borough Council do not arrange refunds over the phone
