Today sees the launch of the refreshed Erewash Community Safety Partnership Plan, refreshed for 2010-2011. This refresh confirms the commitment that the Community Safety Partnership has to tackling all types of crime and disorder within the borough of Erewash. The partnership is also boosted by the inclusion of Derbyshire Probation Trust and the duty to consider reducing reoffending within the Community Safety Partnership. The refresh of the plan can be found here.
The partnership also reaffirms it's commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB), with national minimum standards being included in the work of Erewash Community Safety Partnership. This includes ensuring reducing ASB and the fear of ASB remains a target for the partnership, ensuring that we communicate with residents on a regular basis, providing help and support to victims of ASB and also by providing a right of complaint to the partnership if problems are not being solved through other channels. More information on this will be released in the coming weeks.
