Come along to the Erewash Museum as we celebrate our FREE Night At The Museum event on 15th May from 7pm to 9pm.

View the night sky in the museum garden with Ilkeston & District Astronomical Society and hear about the history of Derbyshire through stories, songs and legends. The museum rooms will be open for a special chance to view the building and exhibitions in the evening.

Erewash Museum is just off the High Street in Ilkeston Town centre, a short walk from the Market Place. Admission is free and it is open Monday to Saturday during school holidays. Its regular opening hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am-4pm.

Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, said:

“The Night at the Museum event is a fantastic opportunity for families to learn about the Solar System, discovering the constellations and to experience Derbyshire’s history through stories and songs.”
