EREWASH BOROUGH COUNCIL (LONG EATON CARNIVAL PARADE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2010

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Erewash Borough Council in exercise of their powers under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 made an Order on 20 May 2010 the effect of which will be that on 19 June 2010 no person shall, except on the direction or with the permission of a police officer in uniform, cause or permit any vehicle other than a vehicle connected with the emergency services to proceed in the following lengths of road between the hours of 11.00am and 1.00pm.

Entrance of Sheet Stores Industrial Estate on Fields Farm Road – to its junction with Tamworth Road

Tamworth Road – from its junction with Fields Farm Road to the Market Place

Market Place – all to its junction with Derby Road

Derby Road – all to its junction with Wilsthorpe Road

Wilsthorpe Road – to the entrance of West Park
