Motorists and local residents are being asked to note in their diaries that a stretch of Wilsthorpe Road in Long Eaton will be closed for a few hours on Sunday 15th August for the annual Erewash Triathlon.
The road will be closed from Wilsthorpe Island to the mini roundabout at West Park Leisure centre between 7am and 1pm. Diversions will be in place.
Organised by Erewash Borough Council, the Triathlon is part of a sporting weekend which will also feature a Junior Aquathlon and a One Mile Family Fun Run on Saturday 14th August.
