Erewash Junior Aquathlon - Deadline Extended

The junior sporting event of the year takes place at West Park on Saturday 14 August. The Erewash Junior Aquathlon is a unique, fun event open to young people in the Borough where participants complete a swimming and running course against the clock.
 
The Junior Aquathlon is the ideal discipline for beginners to take part in a multi sport event. The closing date for entries to the Aqualthlon has been extended until
2 August at 12 noon, so don’t delay, enter today.
 
Erewash Junior Aquathlon takes place at West Park Leisure Centre at1pm.
The event will be split into two age groups:
8 yrs   - 10 yrs – 50 metre swim and a 600 metre run
11 yrs - 14 yrs – 250 metre swim and a 2 km run
 
The Erewash family fun run also takes place on Saturday 14 August with all the family invited to take part:
 
Erewash One Mile Family Fun Run takes place on West Park. The family fun run is open to anyone of any age and starts at 12pm lunchtime. The family fun run is limited to 100, with entries taken on the day between 10am-11.45am.
 
Erewash Borough Council’s annual sporting weekend will see the Junior Aquathlon take place on Saturday 14th August before the Novice Triathlon is staged on Sunday 15th August.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience the Junior Aquathlon for the first time and take part in a great sporting weekend in Erewash. We would like to encourage young people that have not entered this type of event before, so if you haven’t already signed up to take part in the junior Aquathlon, don’t delay, sign up today.”
