Erewash in Bloom 2012Calling all green-fingered gardeners . . . the ever-popular Erewash in Bloom competition has been launched, so now is the time to pot up your perennials, bring on the baskets and manicure the lawns! The annual gardening extravaganza is the flagship project of Erewash Borough Council’s Pride in Erewash Campaign and sees residents, schools and businesses put some real flower power into the borough. The competition features a wide range of categories as gardening fans all compete to put on the best summertime displays and be crowned an Erewash in Bloom champion. This year promises to be an extra-special competition, with many gardeners expected to plan some show-stopping displays to mark 2012’s landmark Diamond Jubilee and Olympic celebrations. Make sure you enter Erewash in Bloom in this special year.
